Lisa Burke
After a long journey working the flight to Accra as a Delta Airlines flight attendant Lisa Burke takes pride in waking early to walk the children to school from the orphanage. She says coloring is her best attribute but it doesn't compare to all she has done. She personally took her two sons and husband on a trip to deliver supplies and help the children. They shared the story of the orphans back home with their friends and neighbors in Chicago. A margarita party ensued and helped fund the nursery project.
Melanie Napp
Melanie Napp is pivotal in Dreams for Orphans success. She not only donates her time on her layovers as a Delta Airlines Flight Attendant every month in Accra but also has sponsored 3 orphans to attend private school. If that we're not enough she had her 50th extravaganza in New Jersey to benefit Dreams for Orphans. She takes pride in mentoring the girls to reach their full potential.
Mary Herche
Mary Herche has her hands in everything. She has been a very involved community member at St. Anne’s School here in Seattle, and is currently serving as the chair of the Board for Holy Names Academy. She is a member of the Board of Regents at Gonzaga University, is past chair of Childhaven as well as the national Board of Rebuilding Together, and has served on the Junior League of Seattle Board. She is a very experienced and sought-after nonprofit consultant. Mary has been extremely supportive of Dreams For Orphans with her time and resources. She has served as a consultant and trusted advisor for our Executed Committee and is directly responsible the support we have received from The Rotary Club of Magnolia. Mary and her husband, Tom, have both served as tremendous financial supporters of our work and we are most grateful for all that they have done for Dreams For Orphans. Mary Herche stepped up to be our matching donor through our Holiday Campaign; she'll be matching every dollar up to $22,000!
Dick and Molly Malloy
Dick Malloy and his wife Molly have been ambassadors from day one. Dick is a member of our founding board, as well as being a recurring donor. Malloy’s efforts can never be underestimated, especially his initiation of our first newsletter and ongoing role as our editor. He has truly spread the word of Dreams for Orphans’ accomplishments. He now helps sponsor Edward Arthur, who attends Ashesi University, in Accra Ghana. Molly Malloy has also never hesitated to volunteer at our many fundraiser events and is a continued, enthusiastic supporter of our mission.
Judy Killion
Judy Killion is a key supporter of Dreams for Orphans and was also a part of our founding board. Since the beginning, Killion has volunteered behind the scenes to collect from our PO box, deliver mail, and report on all donations. She works closely with the founders and bookkeeper along with always being a huge supporter of Dreams for Orphans. Killion is an example of someone who keeps our system in order and maintains the basis of our organization in order for Dreams for Orphans to run smoothly.
